OTC South Pacific is a non-profit organisation committed to the education of orthopaedic registrars & junior consultants. The focus is on trauma education for registrars, and the purpose is:-
To advance the science and art of musculoskeletal treatment in the South Pacific through the conduct, sponsorship and support of research, education and training.
OTC courses complement the SET training program from junior through to senior registrars and newly qualified consultants. Specifically, OTC South Pacific concentrates on delivering high quality interactive courses involving anatomical specimens and a low student to instructor ratio of 4:1 or less. These courses offer delegates valuable hands-on practical experience in surgical approaches.

OTC South Pacific would like to welcome Dr Ravi Dissanayake to the Management Committee as Director of Education and to congratulate Dr Mark RIckman and Dr Joseph Isaacs on their re-election to Vice President and Treasurer respectively at the recent AGM.

The OTC Committee would like to sincerely thank Dr Andrew Gong for his valuable contribution and commitment to OTC South Pacific over the past 9 years. Andrew has decided to step down from the Committee after serving as Director of Education (2023-2026) and previously as Treasurer (2018-2022).
