Course Outline

This is an interactive course involving informal presentations, discussion and hands on cadaveric dissection workshops, based in a small group environment. The maximum ratio for cadaveric workshops will be 4:1.
Anatomy teaching and surgical demonstration of standard & alternative exposures of the lower limb including hip, knee, foot & ankle will be covered.
This course will include presentations and cadaver sessions & is designed for Pre-Set, Set 1-2 registrars.

Course Pre-requisites

i. Course is designed for Pre-Set & Set 1-2 and priority registration will be given to these applicants.
ii. Delegates are required to undertake self-directed pre-reading of topics covering: anatomy and standard exposures & basic principles in nailing and plating.
